My Review of Prada L’eau Ambree
Sophisticated. Classy. Different. Soft.
L’eau Ambree is an amazing fragrance from Prada, which is grown up and sophisticated. It is apt for a business suit, when you want to be taken seriously, but with that streak of something mysterious.
There is nothing even close to L’eau Ambree in my entire perfume collection. It is a unique fragrance, very unlike the usual run of the mill florals. On me this perfume has a shaving creamish smell initially, but then turns into this ambery delight. It just grows on you, and then becomes your most craved scent. This isn’t my most complimented fragrance, but the one I reach out for most often. A light spraying in morning, and its comforting presence is still there at night. This is not a sillage monster, but its spicy sweet vanilla-amber will keep making its presence felt the whole day. Till now I’ve only worn it in summers, but would love to try L’eau Ambree in the colder months, keeping me warm and cozy.
Easily available in most stores, classy bottle.
Tip: this is an amazing perfume to layer, use it along with others with similar notes and enjoy. Recommended with YSL Cinema, it amps up the amber of cinema and makes it much more delicious.
Will I recommend it: Yes Yes Yes!! Though not as a blind buy.
I even wore it on my recent trip to Goa, and even in that hot and humid climate, it shines through, never becoming cloying.
Price: approx INR 4500 for 80ml EDP
