“A sensual interpretation of Iris: fresh and light, like a tender veil. Precious, elusive and perfect balanced, reminiscent of the clean scent of crisp linen sheets and naked skin.” Prada could not have described the scent any better, it is a modern classic, stuff to fall in love with.
Prada Infusion D’Iris was launched in 2007 following the successful launch of the male fragrance under the same name. It comprises of the top notes of the African Orange flower, Orange, Mandarin Orange and Neroli, Middle notes of Iris, Mastic and Galbanum, and Base notes of Vetiver, Cedar, Incense and Benzoin.
My Review of Prada Infusion D’Iris
Infusion D’Iris is the perfect scent of soap, fresh florals and class. Is is elegant and luxurious, very comforting, like a warm hug. It is calm and relaxed, never obtrusive, and always a pleasant background.Prada Infusion D’Iris has soon made its way in all the best perfumes list, within a few years of its launch.
Prada Infusion D’Iris is cool, calm and introvert, maybe the elder sister of the effusive PRADA Candy, she is the intellectual one, the one who prefers candle lit dinners over the endless nights in bar, the one who likes reading over karaoke nights. She can sashay down the board rooms with the same ease with which she curls up in front of fire with a warm cup of cocoa. This is the stuff for the long term affair, very classy, and smells expensive. A truly great work by PRADA.
PRADA Infusion D’Iris has a citrusy opening with some galbanum, but within minutes it settles to the comforting iris, powdery and elegant. There is very mild benzoin and incense in the background, slightly resinous but it is mainly just iris. Clean and powdery. Baby powder, warm and floral scented delicious baby powder.
Perfect for any occasion, people will love to hug you if you smell like this.
Very close to skin, and is mostly a skin scent within an hour of wearing it, but stays like that till you wash it off the next day.
The flacon is very retro looking, rectangular clear glass with a greenish cap. Very classy and understated like the perfume it houses.
Will I recommend it? Definitely. It sure is worthy of a big sized bottle.
